My Yoga Journey
From a love of movement to a life shaped by the deeper wisdom of yoga.
I began practising yoga over 10 years ago. Initially, I was drawn to yoga because of my passion for exercise, sport, health and wellbeing. I enjoyed the physical aspects of yoga, including flexibility, strength and movement.
As my practice developed, I realised that the physical postures, or asanas, are only one small aspect of yoga. This sparked a deeper curiosity about the philosophy, principles and traditions behind the practice.
Over the years, yoga has had a profound impact on my life. It has supported my physical fitness, strength, stamina and flexibility while also helping me cultivate calmness, resilience, focus and discipline. Yoga provides a rare balance between physical challenge and mental stillness.
Beyond the physical benefits, yoga has helped me manage stress, improve self-awareness, develop mindfulness and approach life with greater balance and clarity.
I completed my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Aum Ashram in San Antonio in 2024. While the training strengthened my practical teaching skills, it also deepened my understanding of yoga philosophy, traditional teachings and the wider purpose of yoga as a path for personal growth.
I became a yoga teacher because I wanted to continue learning and sharing the wisdom of yoga with others. My goal is to make yoga accessible, authentic and meaningful for everyone, regardless of age, experience or background.
Yoga is for everybody
Adapted to you
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that yoga is for everybody. Every student is different, and classes should be adapted to meet individual needs and goals. I aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students can develop strength, mobility, confidence and self-awareness while exploring yoga at their own pace.
Beyond the mat
I believe yoga extends beyond the mat and can positively influence how we think, live and connect with ourselves and others. Practice becomes a foundation for calmer, clearer and more balanced everyday living.
